Sungkai Railway Station
A modern ETS railway station of the usual design. There is no sign of the old station nearby.

within  walking  distance  of  the  station

The new railway station has been built a considerable distance away from the town centre (too far to walk). You won't find a taxi or bus either. Some new developments are under construction in front of the station but for now there is nothing within walking distance other than a few kampong houses.

The main attraction near Sungkai is the Felda Residence Hot Springs at Sungai Klah. You can see their official website for details.

The Wildlife Conservation Centre (for deer, pheasants, gaur and other species) is also located near Sungkai.
