Rasa Railway Station

Rasa is a station on the Tanjung Malim to Rawang extension of the KTM Komuter line. Trains stop here roughly once an hour in each direction. You can find the timetable on KTMB's website here.

You are unlikely to find a taxi or bus on exiting the station so you will need to walk. Fortunately, Rasa railway station is located near the centre of this small town.

The  Town

Rasa, which means 'taste', is a quiet and peaceful town in the Hulu Selangor district. Here are a few photos taken within walking distance of the station:
100 year old temple in Rasa
Main Street in Rasa
Cosy shop in Rasa
Vintage Mazda
Estate of Tan Boon Chia deceased
Shophouses opposite station
One heritage building which I somehow managed to miss is the Tan Boon Chia Mansion. You can read details (in Malay) and see photos on this website.
